About our founders
Mike Revell
Managing Director
With a degree in electronic engineering with mathematics, Mike has a proven track record in the telecommunications industry. In 1992 he founded REDNET, an Internet Service Provider delivering networking and Internet services to small and medium sized businesses.
Organically grown, REDNET became a widely recognised and acclaimed ISP, being regularly voted as the country’s best business ISP, receiving the Thames Valley Business of the Year Award and being featured in the Harper Collins publication ‘Top ICT companies in the UK’.
In 2005 Mike sold REDNET to Centrica. The business was then subsequently acquired by The Carphone Warehouse. Mike held senior positions in both companies.
Raza Rizvi
Technical Director
Widely respected for his technical expertise, Raza built his reputation working as Technical and Operations Director at REDNET.
Raza has also held senior positions in Centrica and The Carphone Warehouse, where he assumed responsibility for Internet service provision and technical data services respectively. In 2002 he was appointed non executive director of the London Internet Exchange (LINX), the world's largest Internet Exchange, overseeing and advising on the development of the Exchange's product portfolio.
Raza has an impressive catalogue of Cisco qualifications which include CCNP, CCDP, CCSP, CCIP, CCIE (written) and should have completed his CCVP before Cisco changed it to the CCNP Voice qualification. But as usual he was too busy helping customers.
